Specifically designed for TRIO programs, our Key Habits Program empowers students to identify their unique needs and build intentional, lasting habits—with purpose and impact.

  • #1. What do I want?

    Students reflect on their personal, professional, and academic goals and establish their top-priorities for the semester.

  • #2. What are my needs?

    Students determine key habits by identifying their needs and setting boundaries that will support their mental health and well-being.

  • #3. What are my thoughts?

    Students manage their thoughts and cultivate a positive mindset by practicing self-awareness, challenging negative self-talk, and intentionally focusing on growth over perfection.

  • #4. What is my plan?

    Students focus on building key habits and setting a Weekly Wellness Goal based on principles of habit formation and their Key Habit Plan.

I attended Lynn's workshop at the COE conference and was so impressed by the work she was doing with her students. Teaching our TRIO students to take care of themselves by practicing self-care and teaching them how to meditate was completely in line with the vision I had for my students.
